Synopsis

Abandoned by his father and raised by his single mother, Debbie, Nate Merritt joins the Marines to support his soon-to-be fiancée, Trish. While on leave in Palm Springs he meets Andy, a magnetic, seemingly free-spirited young gay man with dreams of escaping to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. Though the bond between the two men is initially platonic, the nature of their relationship unavoidably shifts into something physical and intimate as they tread the risky waters of vulnerability and introspection. Unexpectedly, by delving deeply within himself, Nate also uncovers the identity of the father he never knew. With this brave cinematic work, director Damion Dietz (Beverly Kills) demonstrates tremendous ambition and craftsmanship, focusing on the emotional terrain of family loyalty and the weight of finding yourself in the world. I have to agree with the previous comments made about this movie. I couldn't even understand the point of this movie or why it was made! Skip it and rent Jarhead. If nothing else, you get to see Jake G's ass cheeks!

THE ACTORS WERE OK AND SEXY - THE PLOT WAS SO WRONG - - AND THE ENDING WAS JUST STUPID - NOT A FEEL GOOD MOVIE AT ALL - I WISH I COULD DEMAND MY MONEY BACK AND MY TIME THAT I SPENT WATCHING THIS FLICK

At first I thought ( okay here we go - another bad movie ) but give the movie time to take off. It actually was a better movie than I thought
it would be.

The characters in this film were as confused as the director. As is too often the case, the gay character spent a lot of time feeling sorry for himself; the marine was simply confused.

Good Movie...
Both actors was exceptional in this movie. The movie left some questions in mind but I like the fact that they left the lead actor sexuality without an answer. Sometime the mystery is more important.
